What you’ll be doing

Research leads, develop entrance strategies, and qualify your prospects to generate
new business partners for individual and company profitability
Present transportation options to your customer base, allowing yourself to build a
complete transportation and supply chain solution for the customer
Partner with businesses on transportation budgets and quarterly reviews to develop
long term relationships
Monitor and update transportation management systems, ensuring compliance and
policy procedures
Proactively manage situations and challenges by monitoring and communicating with all
parties involved
Continuously develop carrier relations allowing for optimal solutions for your customer
Manage existing business accounts and continuously exude the highest level of
customer service

What you need

Pursing a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Logistics, Marketing,
International Business, Sales, Psychology, or another related major
Have the drive, assertiveness, passion, and dedication to succeed in the logistics
industry
Ability to work independently while supporting an overall team mentality
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
Ability to work in a blended role of operations and sales in an office environment
Manage complex transactional or emotional customer situations promptly and
professionally
Able to handle and prioritize high call volumes and customer inquiries
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Well organized, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work
Ability to multitask; manage multiple phone lines, email, freight management system, quoting, load board bids
